If you want to say how long you have lived in several place so you say
– I’ve been living in London for three years.

You can also say..

your introduction should be small, interesting and exciting
at a party you have to be interesting and always think about the context. your introduction should be super short because the whole purpose of introducing yourself is to be start a conversation not to make somebody bored from the start.
