IELTS Weather speaking part:1

Topic: Weather

What's your favourite season of the weather?

I prefer winter over summer because I just love the cold weather outside and it's very nice and chilly and I can just walk around and I love going to the desert. I feel like I can just cuddle up in a blanket near the bonfire and do my favourite things and I also enjoy the icy freezing nature of cold for some reason.

What's the weather like where you live?

I suppose where I live most days it is really sunny and I enjoy going outside and playing.

Do you like the weather in your hometown?

Yes, the weather in my hometown is pleasant I just like the summer months here but I typically take a vacation in the summer and we go to the surrounding hill station to escape the heat.

Is summer your favourite weather?

Not, at all as you can feel yourself it's too humid out there it's difficult to breathe let alone enjoy the season itself rather I would prefer autumn over any other season because it's the perfect time of the year to enjoy activities like auto cycling going for a picnic or for a long drive or even river rafting.

Do you prefer dry or wet weather?

I like rainy weather because the monsoon season follows the hot and dry summer months I prefer eating tea and fritters in the rain.

Do you prefer hot or cold weather?

I absolutely love interest in the days of water and the nights get longer hot drinks like coffee and tea are enjoyed more.

Do you like it when it rains?

Personally, I enjoy it when it rains because it makes everything feel fresh and clear clouds are no more dusty trees look greener it looks as if everything is removed however it does not rain a lot in the area I where live so people wait for the rain to come and give them some relief from the boiling hot weather in summer.

IELTS Weather part: 3

Has the weather changed much in your country since you were young?

When I was young I felt like there were not that many sunny days and particularly the summer was not that hot but the winters definitely got very cold.

I clearly remember as a child we would normally get a few snowy days in winter and it really did get cold now however definitely those days are gone.

We seem to get sweltering summer sometimes really prolonged periods of very hotter sculpturing weather and in the winter it just is not very cold so yeah I think there have been some changes mainly related to temperature.

Do you think the weather affects people's mood or behaviour?

I think it absolutely affects people's mood and behaviour when it's cold weather particularly overcast weather where we cannot see the sun people start to feel a bit down.

It does have that effect and when it's a bright day like a sunny day people just feel a bit more cheerful and not too cold in the morning I think people tend to feel a bit better but personally I am definitely affected by the weather.

Why do people live in places with extreme weather?

I don't know really because when I think about these places that come to my mind, for example, not Russia which is freezing cold. You look down towards these places that experience lots of strong winds and typhoons there are a lot of places that have extremely cold weather and I think really why do we believe in places like that it's not they don't really have a choice either they don't have the money to move somewhere more desirable or that's there where they were born.

They grew up in so that's what they are familiar with so I don't think people over choose to do that I don't think there's some opportunity.
